SPICY TOMATO SOUP
The ingredients are fit for two portions.
5 Tomatoes (approximately ½ kilogram.
1 Cup water.
½ Spoon clarified butter or sesame oil.
1 Tea spoon grated ginger.
1 Bay leaf.
¼ Tea spoon cumin seeds.
1 Tea spoon turmeric powder.
¼ Tea spoon chili powder.
¼ Tea spoon garam masala.
¼ Tea spoon black pepper.
2 Spoons pasta or noodles.
1 Spoon coriander leafs.
½ Tea spoon rock salt.
Wash the tomatoes and blender them along with the water.
Heat the clarified butter or sesame oil.
Add the ginger and bay leaf. Fry for a few moments.
Add the turmeric powder and chili powder.
Add the blended tomatoes, garam masala, black pepper, and pasta or noodles.
Bring the whole to a boil and let the soup simmer until it becomes dark red and the pasta or noodles are done.
Reduce the heat and add the coriander leafs and rock salt.
