Ingredients1

The ingredients are fit for about two portions.

  • 2 to 4 Potatoes.
  • 2 to 4 Blanched celery sticks.
  • 1 to 2 Cups water.
  • 2 Spoons ghī or sesame oil.
  • 1 Tea spoon grated ginger.
  • ½ Tea spoon finely chopped chili pepper (optional).
  • 1 Spoon lemon juice.
  • ¼ Tea spoon black pepper powder.
  • 1 Tea spoon salt.

Preparation

  • Cut the potatoes and blanched celery.
  • Heat the ghī or sesame oil.
  • Add the ginger and chili.
  • Add the potatoes and fry for a few minutes.
  • Add the blanched celery and water and let everything simmer untill done. The water should be (almost) evaporated.
  • Add the lemon juice, black pepper powder and salt.
